Project overview: To establish a multi-country prospective cohort to execute health education and digital interventions on adolescents on nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, mental and physical health, health services utilization and substance use in eight Sub-Saharan African countries, India, and China. My role:
- Research assistant in China research team to collect prospective cohort data and lead digital interventions in China;
- Lead author of the cross-country research about “Co-occurrence of adolescent health risk behavior in Sub-Saharan Africa, India and China”.
2. The impact of COVID-19 on children and adolescents health globally, 2021.06-2023.06
Principal investigator: Zulfiqar A. Bhutta, Centre for Global Child Health, Canada; Kun Tang, Tsinghua University, China; Li Jiang, Centre for Global Child Health, Canada.
Project overview: To investigate the impacts of COVID-19 on children and adolescent health, especially complications and long-term effects through systematic reviews.
My role:
- Research assistant and co-author;
- Literature screening, data extraction, and data analysis.
3. Health workforce cohort scope review, 2023.03-present

Project overview: To understand how are health workforce cohorts being setup and maintained globally.
My role:
- Research intern and co-author;
- Literature screening, data extraction, and data analysis.
4. Strategic Consulting on “One Health” for Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), 2022.03-2022.06
Principal investigator: Erik Berglof, Chief Economist at AIIB; Abigail Wright, Senior Secretariat Officer at AIIB.
Project overview: To structure a scope of “One Health” investment among 6 multilateral development banks (MDBs), including World Bank (WB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Asian Development Bank(ADB), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), and AIIB.
My role:
- Project core member (1/5);
- Develop the analysis framework, identify AIIB’s role in furthering the One Health approach as a broader health lens, synthesize takeaways from One Health policies and practices across MDBs into recommendations.
5. Research Programme on Transition from External Financing - Analytical Framework to guide country teams, 2021.10-2022.02

Project overview: To better understand how and why countries have (or not) been able to sustain (or increase) effective coverage of health interventions previously funded by donors and the enablers and barriers to this.
My role:
- Research assistance;
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data, analyze the data using Policy Triangle Framework.
6. Feasibility Analysis of Strengthening Self-health Management of the Aged Population through Health Education in Rural Areas of China, 2019.05-2020.05

Project overview: To evaluate the efficiency of health education on aged population in 3 rural counties in Beijing.
My role:

- Execute field work, survey, and interview;
- Design the research framework, analyze the data, and present the final report.
